The company was started in year 2010 by Jarle Alexander Rustad, the base is in Oslo.

Jarle's background is 29 years of experience with tanker agency service in the Oslofjord and Drammen. This incl. the Ekeberg / Sjursøya oilterminal in Oslo, Fagerstrand, Kambo, Larkollen, Halvorshavn, Saetre/Engene and Drammen terminal, serving Shipowners and Oilcompanys. As well work as custom forwarding agent for the oilcompany's, handling the custom clearance for their cargo's. JAR Shipagency have all the local knowledge to give a good and precise service.
